I am a therapist and coach who is passionate about coming alongside you and your partner to work through the hard stuff. I like to be unconventional, creatively problem solve, and see things from an out-of-the-box perspective. I am NOT your moms therapist!
I am honored to walk with you and your partner as we seek to untangle the webs you find yourselves in. Let's discover freedom and joy in your relationship again! I use humor and sincerity to connect with you. My goal is to earn my way into a place of trust for you and your partner. It is truly sacred for me to be allowed into your lives and relationships. Your coupled relationship is arguably the most important relationship of your life. But it can seem so challenging, particularly when circumstances aren't ideal. We tend to get stuck in cycles of conflict or avoidance that prevent us from enjoying the full benefits of these most important relationships! Our families of origin, our trauma, our addiction, the stress of raising children or blending families can complicate our partnerships, and it can feel hopeless, or that we can never get it right. I am here to help you disrupt these cycles and change the dynamics of your relationship to be more fulfilling, happier and healthier. Counseling Versus Coaching
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, and have
extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
I believe in couples therapy/counseling! But for some clients,
coaching is a better fit, particularly in couples work. In therapy,
we are required to diagnose our clients with a mental health
condition, and that often doesn't fit couples who are simply having normal relational struggles. Coaching will not become part of your permanent medical record. Coaching also allows me to work with clients outside the states I am licensed in. Questions or concerns?
